Renters Insurance:

PicCell Wireless offers optional renter’s insurance for lost/stolen/broken rental items including phones, SIM cards, and accessories such as battery chargers and camera attachments. Renter’s insurance is available for $0.30/day for the duration of your contract. Insurance may be added after the contract has become active, by phone or contacting PicCell Wireless online; in this case, activation of coverage and daily insurance fees will be delayed 10 days from the request date.


Renter's insurance covers 60% of the repair/replacement cost of lost/stolen/broken rental items; clients with the optional renter's insurance will be responsible for only 40% of the replacement/repair cost. The insurance is only valid for the lost/stolen hardware; it does not cover fraudulent traffic (calls) incurred after rental items are lost or stolen. All packages include insurance for proper use (see Proper Use Damage Insurance). If the rental items are not returned within 30 days of the return date, any of the rental items are missing upon receipt, or lost/stolen rental items are not properly reported (see “Lost Stolen Broken”), Renter's Insurance coverage will become void.
